Arizona Commercial Landlord Tenant Law

The Laws that govern Arizona commercial landlord tenant issues are much less comprehensive than the laws that govern residential landlord tenant issues. Commercial lease issues usually involve retail, industrial, office space, or other commercial uses. Often, these disputes are governed primarily by the lease terms themselves. There are not nearly as many protections afforded a commercial tenant as there are for residential tenants. Commercial landlords usually have the power to lock-out a commercial tenant with little or no notice for failure to pay rent. Nevertheless, the commercial landlord tenant laws do govern landlord liens and other issues that come up in the commercial context.
